Appointment Reminders
Don't forget to download your forms, print them and fill them out before your first visit. It will save you time when you arrive.
It is helpful if you schedule your next appointment as you leave each visit; this will enable us to offer selections that best suit your busy schedule
Appointments that require more time (i. e. bandings, removals, longer adjustments) may be scheduled between 7:45am and 11:00am, and between 2:00pm and 2:30pm.
Please be considerate and contact our office in advance if you need to reschedule your appointment time or date.

Meet Our Team
W
e know you will enjoy meeting our staff. Our team is a group of experienced, friendly and professionally trained individuals committed to your excellent results. Our team takes pride in making sure our patients are comfortable and have everything they need to make their treatment a success.
The members of our clinical team are Certified Orthodontic Assistants through the Dental Assisting National Board and have Missouri Dental Board certification. They participate in continuing education courses annually to stay current on the latest techniques and procedures.

Job Title: Certified Orthodontic Assistant
About: I have worked in the dental field since 1996. I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved to St. Louis in 2002 and have been with Dr. Nissen since. When I am not at work, I enjoy exercising and creating canvas artwork in my home studio. My favorite movies are Notting Hill and The Italian Job.

About: I have been working in the orthodontic field since2001 and have been working with Dr. Nissen since 2007. I also have my expanded functions certification in Orthodontics. I am originally from Cape Girardeau. I am a mother of two beautiful girls and they are my pride and joy. In my spare time I love to go to Cardinal games and spending time with friends and family.

About: I have been working in the orthodontic field since 2000 and have been with Dr. Nissen since that time. I am originally from St. Louis, have been married 2 years and am now the proud mother of a beautiful baby girl. She of course takes up all my spare time, but I do find time to watch my favorite TV shows, The Big Bang Theory and Two Broke Girls. My cats, Figaro Bojangles and Oscar love to snuggle with me when I finally get a chance to relax. I also have a dog Casanova.

About: I started working in the dental field in 1989 while living in San Antonio, TX. What I thought at 20 years old would be a job, became a career. Orthodontics was the specialty for me! In 2001 I returned to my home town of St. Louis and landed a position here at OCSL and it has been a great fit. In my free time you can find me in the local Antique stores or enjoying time with my family and friends.

About: I have been working in the orthodontic field since 1993 and have been with Dr. Nissen for 21 years. I rejoined Orthodontic Consultants in 2007...looks like they couldn't survive without me! I am married and have a beautiful daughter who is pursuing a career in Special Education. I have two energetic dogs who keep me busy every night with a walk around the neighborhood, no matter what the weather!

I am a St. Louis native and spend my spare time with my family and especially my niece Baylee. I love being part of this team and doing everything it takes to keep the office running smoothly. About: I have been working in the orthodontic field since 1998 and have been with Dr. Nissen since then. I originally started off as a chair side assistant and in 2006 received my training in Laboratory Services. I enjoy making and creating retainers that will assist in keeping our patient's smiles perfect. When I am not at work I enjoy hunting and playing darts with my husband. We all love to eat seafood and I have two awesome kids that keep me very busy!

About: I have been working in the field of orthodontics since 1989. After a brief stint of assisting chair side, I moved to the dry side of orthodontics, the front desk. I have always enjoyed helping patients with their orthodontic treatment. My personal interest is shopping which is fueled daily by our location between two malls.

I have been working in the field orthodontics with Dr. Nissen since 1999. I was born and raised in St. Louis. I enjoy getting to know our patients, as we get to see them every month. In my spare time I love to exercise and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have a yellow Labrador Retriever, Wyatt who keeps me company. I love old movies and musicals, my favorite all time TV show is Alias.

I have been working in the field of orthodontics since 2010. I am originally from Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the United States in 2007. My husband and I recently purchased our first home and it has been exciting decorating and moving in. In my spare time I love to spend time with friends and family and planning vacations to see my relatives in Venezuela and Chile.
