Appointment Reminders
Don't forget to download your forms, print them and fill them out before your first visit. It will save you time when you arrive.
It is helpful if you schedule your next appointment as you leave each visit; this will enable us to offer selections that best suit your busy schedule
Appointments that require more time (i. e. bandings, removals, longer adjustments) may be scheduled between 7:45am and 11:00am, and between 2:00pm and 2:30pm.
Please be considerate and contact our office in advance if you need to reschedule your appointment time or date.

Meet Our Team
W
e know you will enjoy meeting our staff. Our team is a group of experienced, friendly and professionally trained individuals committed to your excellent results. Our team takes pride in making sure our patients are comfortable and have everything they need to make their treatment a success.
The members of our clinical team are Certified Orthodontic Assistants through the Dental Assisting National Board and have Missouri Dental Board certification. They participate in continuing education courses annually to stay current on the latest techniques and procedures.

Danielle
Position: Office ManagerAbout: I have been working in the field orthodontics with Dr. Nissen since 1999. I was born and raised in St. Louis. I enjoy getting to know our patients, as we get to see them every month. In my spare time I love to exercise and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have a yellow Labrador Retriever, Wyatt who keeps me company. I love old movies and musicals.

Position: Administrative AssistantAbout: I have been in the dental field since 2000 and have worked with Dr. Nissen since 2005. I am originally from St. Louis. I recently became a mother and have enjoyed the challenge of balancing work and home. In my spare time I enjoy trying new restaurants and this year joined a book club.

Position: Administrative AssistantAbout: I have been working in the field of orthodontics since 1989. After a brief stint of assisting chair side, I moved to the dry side of orthodontics, the front desk. I have always enjoyed helping patients with their orthodontic treatment. My personal interest is shopping which is fueled daily by our location between two malls.

Position: Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Expanded FunctionsAbout: I have been working in the orthodontic field since 1996 and have been with Dr. Nissen since then. I am originally from St. Louis, but have also lived in Colorado and Berlin, Germany. When I am not at work, I enjoy traveling, the outdoors, Cards games and spending time with my husband, stepson and friends.
Adrienne
Position: Laboratory Technician/Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Expanded FunctionsAbout: I have been working in the orthodontic field since 1998 and have been with Dr. Nissen since then. I originally started off as a chair side assistant and in 2006 received my training in Laboratory Services. I enjoy making and creating retainers that will assist in keeping our patient's smiles perfect.

Position: Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Expanded FunctionsAbout: I have been working in the orthodontic field since 2000 and have been with Dr. Nissen since that time. I am originally from St. Louis, have been married 2 years and am now the proud mother of a beautiful baby girl. My favorite TV shows are Big Bang Theory and Two Broke Girls.

Position: Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Expanded FunctionsAbout: I started working in the dental field in 1989 while living in San Antonio, TX. What I thought at 20 years old would be a job, became a career. Orthodontics was the specialty for me! In 2001 I returned to my home town of St. Louis and landed a position here at OCSL. In my free time you can find me in the local Antique stores or enjoying time with my family and friends.

Position: Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Expanded FunctionsAbout: I have worked in the dental field since 1996. I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved to St. Louis in 2002 and have been with Dr. Nissen since. When I am not at work, I enjoy exercising and creating canvas artwork in my home studio. My favorite movies are Notting Hill and The Italian Job.

Position: Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Expanded FunctionsAbout: I have been working in the orthodontic field since 2001 and have been with Dr. Nisssen since 2007. I enjoy getting to know our patients. My greatest reward is watching our patients progress throughout treatment. In my spare time I love spending time with my daughters Karsyn and Ava.

Position: Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Expanded FunctionsAbout: I have been working in the orthodontic field since 1993 and have been with Dr. Nissen for 21 years! I am married and have a beautiful daughter who is pursuing a career in Special Education. I have two energetic dogs who keep me busy every night with a walk around the neighborhood, no matter what the weather!

Position: Sterilzation Technician/Assistant in TrainingAbout: I have been in the dental field since 2010 when I began working part time for Orthodontic Consultants. I am now a full time member of the team and I am finishing my degree in dental assisting. I am originally from St. Louis and enjoy delivering the "WOW" experience to each and every patient.
